Pars Hospital was founded in 1959 by a group of dedicated young European and US graduated doctors. The original founders of Pars Hospital were the following doctors:

Pars Hospital was the forerunner
of all the Private Hospitals and Medical Groups which formed in time. They followed Pars's path and initiated the spread of Private Medical Practice and Treatment as a group in Tehran initially and later throughout the country.
At first Pars Hospital was situated
in Avenue France comprising less than 40 private bed. As the practice improved and progressed, the Hospital was relocated to a new purpose built site in Elizabeth Boulevard (now re-named Keshavarz Boulevard). The new hospital comprised of a four-story purpose built construction comprising a
space of 10,000 square metres
within the centre of Tehran and easy access to clients.
A new extension has just
recently taken place by addition of a new wing expanding the
space by a further 11,000 square metres and doubling the space
for new facilities and equipments'. The hospital has two cath labs, a Post Catheterisation ward, ICU,CCU,
MRI, CT Scan, a Dialysis Unit,
a Radiology Unit and a very active fully equipped Pathology Department. There is regular on-going review
of the facilities and equipment to keep abreast with new developments and the latest world standards.
Pars Hospital benefits from central air conditioning and to avoid mid city pollution, the system has filtering and moisturizing facility. The operating suite has in addition extra bacterial filters.
At present there are 188 beds at Pars comprising of single private rooms, double and three-bedded wards .
Is established in year 2006. It has a warm, friendly and pleasant environment which has been supplied with the most advanced equipments existing in the world. This center has the most expert technician in the field and they are prepared to carry out
different respiratory and allergic tests such as spirometry with and without Broncodilator, Body Polty mography, Long Diffusion, Metacolin Test, MW and etcetera.
The unit was rebuilt in 2001. It has
a large area comprising 14 equipped beds. an isolated room. Resuscitation Room (CPR Room). an operating theatre. a plaster room. an infant room with
incubator and a waiting area. There is direct access to the pathology depar _ tment. Three of the beds have facility for monitoring. The staff are highly trained and qualified and extremely efficient.
There are 7 general surgeons several are also Faculty Staff. Their interest varies from gastrointestinal to endocrine
and breast.
Expanded in the year 2000, the CCU has 8 beds, 3 of which are isolated rooms. All are fully
equipped to meet world standards and monitored directly from the workstation. Nurses in the unit
are CCU qualified and trained.
The intensive care unit is divided into two parts and has 11 monitored beds. Part 1 is for patients in
need of intensive care and Part 2 is entirely for post-cardiac surgery cases. As in oronary care unit, the unit is staffed by ICU trained and qualified nurses.
The unit was rebuilt in the year 2000. Activities taking place in the unit include interventional cardiology, electro-physiology,
coronary angiography and angioplasty, valvuloplasty, insertion of temporary and permanent pace-makers and
RF ablation.
The Post Catherisation
Ward was established in 2001. It has 2 isolated rooms
and 10 beds equipped with all the necessary monitoring equipment required in a ward of this nature.
Th is department was relocated and extended in 2012. It is equipped with 12 latest dialysis machines and a R.O. machine for water purification.
NICU ward of Pars Hospital, which was established in 2009, is the most advance NICU in Tehran with state of the art equipment and facilities.
The department of pathology has 14 Consultant staff and 250 technicians and secretarial staff. This department is one of the largest in the country.
The department of pathology provides
the following services: Histology and Cytology, lmmuno-histochemistry, Immunology, Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology and Blood Transfusion services and PCR, recently obtained certificate of BS.EN ISO 9001 :2000
for the first time in Iran.
MRI section has been established in 2002 and it has been accommodated with an MRI system with the following features: Simense, 1.5 Tesla, 18 2008 channels. Some of the special services of this system includes:

The radiology department has 3 consultant staff. Routine radiological •1
investigations performed in the

Pars radio therapy section is one of the most prepared in the country. It has been equipped with the most reliable radio therapy systems which were made in VARIAN company in the USA The
linear accelerator equipment-High
Energy Clinac- uses 30 Conformal method and 3 dimensional computer design. It is an appropriate method that is very useful for the treatment of
deep tumors and also electron beam with different energy is very useful to cure surface tumors. Brakey therapy-HOR - Gamma med plus has been made in VARIAN company which is the most concise Brakey therapy in the world. Also the
total treatment of Prostat cancer is made feasible in this center with the use of
Brakey therapy with 125 iodine.
The new building of pediatric ward which is equipped with the most modern and state - of - the - art medical facilities has been estab - lished in Nov.2009.
This ward enjoys the cooperation of the best and most experienced pediatricians as well as most advance equipment.
